Join us for an incredible opportunity to see and learn as much about Uluru as you can. Uluru's Best & Segway at Sunset tour allows visitors the opportunity to Segway the most scenic section of the base of Uluru and visit on foot incredible caves on the Mala Walk where you can view ancient Aboriginal Rock Art and learn all about Uluru's rich culture, history and geology. This tour includes Segway training and a tour around a quarter of Uluru's massive base of Uluru, guided walks into Mutitjulu waterhole and the Mala Walk followed by an intimate sunset viewing experience at Uluru with nibbles and soft drinks.

The journey, in full
Your tour begins with a transfer from your hotel within Ayers Rock Resort to Uluru. Upon arrival at Uluru your guide will teach you how to ride a Segway. Once everyone in the group is comfortable on their Segway we’ll begin our journey around the most scenic portion of Uluru’s massive base (approximately 1 hour). Our first stop is Mutitjulu waterhole. We’ll dismount and explore this area on foot, giving us a chance to marvel at Uluru’s incredible beauty. Once back on our Segway’s we’ll travel effortlessly around Uluru’s most scenic areas. You’ll have plenty of time for photo stops and to feel the wind in your hair and on your face. After completing the Segway component of the tour, your guide will help you explore the Mala Walk on foot. Here you’ll see ancient Aboriginal rock art and many of Uluru’s famous caves. Your guide will explain about the rich culture and geology that are quintessential to Uluru. As the sun lowers on the horizon enjoy an intimate sunset viewing experience right at the base of Uluru. Whilst watching the sunset, enjoy picnic nibbles and a glass of sparkling wine or soft drinks before returning to the Ayers Rock Resort for the evening.

- Travellers must weigh between 45-117kg (99lbs - 260lbs). - Travellers below the age of 12 years old are not able to participate. - Those aged 12-17 years must be accompanied by an adult. - Travellers above the age of 65 years old are discouraged from joining this tour due to increased risk in the event of a fall. - Not suitable for pregnant travellers.
Meeting & Pickup
Pick up approximately 4 hours before sunset.
