Detailed Itinerary

The journey, in full

Be picked up by your friendly guide and enjoy worry free transfers to the base of Uluru. After arriving at Uluru your guide will teach you how to ride a Segway. After a demonstration you'll have an opportunity to test out yours skills and build confidence on our Segway training track. Once the group is confident aboard their Segway's you'll Segway around the most scenic portion of Uluru's massive base (approx 1 hour). Feel the wind in your hair and on your face as you see breath taking sights and stop for unique photo opportunities. After you've completed the Segway portion of the tour your guide will lead you on a guided walk to see the Mutitjulu waterhole and ancient Aboriginal Rock Art. By bus you'll drive the entire way around Uluru where you'll complete the Mala Walk. This walk allows you to get up close and personal with Uluru and explore many of its caves and learn about ancient Aboriginal culture.

What to Bring

- Bring 1L of water per person. - Bring your national park entry ticket, or credit card to purchase one - All guests must wear closed-toe shoes to participate

Restrictions

- Travellers must weigh between 45-117kg (99lbs - 260lbs). - Travellers below the age of 12 years old are not able to participate. - Those aged 12-17 years must be accompanied by an adult. - Travellers above the age of 65 years old are discouraged from joining this tour due to increased risk in the event of a fall. - Not suitable for pregnant travellers.

Meeting & Pickup

Pick ups can be at either: - Desert Gardens Hotel (for those staying at either Desert Gardens or Emu Walk apartments) - Sails in the Desert Hotel (for those staying at either Sails in the Desert or The Lost Camel hotel) - Ayers Rock Resort Campgrounds - bus stop on the main ring road - Outback Pioneer Hotel.
