World Famous George Inlet Lodge Crab Feast
What your day looks like
The remote location will only add to your dining pleasure at the rustic, yet elegant, George Inlet Lodge. This historic building was once an old cannery bunkhouse located 90 miles away. Two local businessmen moved the bunkhouse to its present location at the site of an old gold mine. The lodge’s warmth and charm create a relaxing experience that will be the highlight of your Alaskan journey. Last but not least, check out the gift shop for a special souvenir for your trip.
The experience, in brief
- A salad in homemade Asian dressing starts your meal
- Fill up on steaming hot Alaskan Dungeness Crab as our servers return to your table with seconds
- Top it off with a slice of rich, smooth cheesecake, smothered in Alaskan blueberries

What travelers are saying
The food was fantastic. The area we ate dinner in was very cool. We sat in the smaller glass house, not in the big dining hall. The view are amazing. It is a little bit of a drive, which was ok because we got to see some things around Ketchikan. Dinner was very sweet but seemed a little shy. Sofia, our server, was fantastic. So Cute and funny, so she made the atmosphere. And did it well
VIEWS FROM THE LODGE WERE BEAUTIFUL AND THE FOOD WAS GREAT. THE WALK DOWN ALL THE STAIRS TO THE RESTAURANT-NOT SO GREAT. NOT AT ALL ADA APPROVED. WOULD STILL RECOMMEND SINCE THE FOOD WAS GREAT
Absolutely a MUST do in Ketchikan. Wonderfully delicious crab and fun environment.
Best ever!
This was a find ! We were unsure what to do in Ketchikan and being Crab lovers decided a crab feast sounded good. Great choice, great crab and delightful location.
The crabs were really good and plentiful. The only thing I would change is the bus driver. It would have been great to have a little narration on the 30 minute trip back and forth to the lodge. I would have liked to know a little about Ketchikan's history.
