The Experience

What your day looks like

This “bucket list tour” gives you a city overview in just 2 hours. Major landmarks, lesser-known gems that only a local would know about, real neighborhoods, and of course, the food trucks! This is definitely not a typical “van tour.” You'll discover secret spots, hear funny stories, and decipher local legends. Make new memories and laugh a ton as we show you how we “Keep Austin Weird.” Truly experience Austin, don’t just see it through a window!

Detailed Itinerary

The journey, in full

Your tour of Austin begins at the Austin Visitor Center (103 East 5th Street, Austin, TX 78701) where you'll meet your guide and begin your 2-hour exploration of the city. Cross off items from your bucket list as you go, including the Rainey Street Historic District, history-rich neighborhoods of East Austin, University of Texas Campus, popular music venues & nightlife hotspots on 6th Street (better known as “Dirty 6th”), and of course, the beautiful Texas State Capitol. Snap a fun photo in front of the “Greetings From Austin” Postcard mural, and enjoy a sweet treat at a local food truck. Cruise down South Congress Avenue with many unique local restaurants and shops. Before returning to downtown, cross over the Ann W. Richards Bridge (also known as the “bat bridge”) which is home to the largest urban bat colony in the world. By the end of your tour, there is no doubt that you will know why people love Austin. Come as strangers, leave as friends!
