Your evening begins with convenient pickup from your Downtown Austin hotel in our air-conditioned Mercedes Metris van. Settle in as your friendly guide greets you and the small group (max 7). First, enjoy a narrated drive through Austin’s highlights. Your guide shares interesting local insights while making short stops for photos and fresh air at key spots. Then, admire historic architecture in the Bremond Historic District, stroll lively South Congress Street, and see the illuminated “Greetings from Austin” mural glowing under the evening lights. Next, head to Lady Bird Lake for a scenic sunset cruise. Relax on the water while watching the Austin skyline shift through beautiful sunset colors. From March to October, witness the spectacular emergence of over 1.5 million Mexican Free-Tailed Bats from the Congress Avenue Bridge—one of the world’s largest urban bat colonies—as they swirl into the darkening sky. The tour wraps up with a relaxed drop-off back at your Downtown Austin hotel, leaving you with unforgettable memories of Austin’s evening scenery, unique natural spectacle, and vibrant culture.
