What your day looks like
Your journey begins at the Ku’ia Estates Chocolate Factory in Lahaina, the largest chocolate factory in the state of Hawaii. Our tour guide then drives you to our private cacao estate, nestled in the foothills of the West Maui mountains. Featuring over 20 acres of cacao trees, our professional and friendly tour guides lead you from “farm to bar.” This interactive and educational tour introduces you to our cacao trees, the hands-on fruit harvesting techniques, and finishes with an exclusive 9-piece tasting of our award-winning chocolate. After the tour, we continue your Maui experience with an exquisite dinner at Sale Pepe, completing our culinary tour.

Maui Ku'ia Estate Chocolate - 78 Ulupono St. Lahaina, HI 96761 Please enter the Ku'ia Estate Chocolate Factory's Cafe to check in for your tour. Please check in at the front desk of the Ku’ia Estate Chocolate Factory 15 minutes before your tour is scheduled to start. All attendees must fill out waivers and sign them before participating in the tour. Covered parking is located behind our building off Kupuohi St.

What should I wear? Wear closed-toe shoes and light layers. Bring sunscreen and bug spray as this is an outdoor tour. What if I have allergies? Please inform us of any food allergies no less than 24 hours before your tour. Can I bring children under 3? No, children under 3 are not permitted on the tour, and no refunds will be given for parties arriving with children under 3. This includes children carried on the body, strollers, etc. What if it rains? In case of inclement weather, the operator may cancel the tour, and you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule. Does the store accept cash? Please bring a credit or debit card for any purchases (no cash accepted). Does your chocolate contain Nuts? No, We are a nut-free production facility. Do you have dairy free/vegan options? Yes! Our Dark Chocolate is 100% dairy free. Is your Chocolate Kosher? Yes! All of our chocolates are re-certified every year by Chabad of Hawaii.
