This was a very enjoyable excursion and our guide Liz was great. My husband has back “issues” and she was very accommodating. He sat in the front seat of the van and she didn’t push him to over do it during the walk at the site where the totems are. Fortress of the Bear is definitely worth a visit! The only bears we saw during our entire cruise - until we hit Juneau and a cub was wandering the streets in the early morning hours.

The Sitka tour was quite educational. From learning history of Sitka to seeing brown and black bears, eagles, salmon running and majestic eagles, Sitka tours provided the opportunity to see and experience these wonders. Much appreciated history of Alaska and United States before Alaska became a state. Thank you.

Tour guide was a local and was very knowledgeable. He was also a great photographer for scenic family photos. Fortress of the Bears was built up to be something great, but it was not that impressive.

Our tour guide, Summer, was excellent. The "3" Totem poles (2 were the same) were disappointing as I was expecting many more. Seeing the pink salmon was a bonus.

Tour was on time and got us back to ship with plenty of time. We had a 4:30 onboard and arrived by 4:15 right to the ship. Our guide was very knowledgable and took her time explaining about Sitka. Bears were active
