Detailed Itinerary
The journey, in full
Your group will be picked up by an air-conditioned van in the morning at a prearranged meeting spot, generally between 9:30am and 10:30am, depending on where you are staying. We will preview the day and head up to our first winery in the Santa Ynez Valley. We will visit three amazing wineries, spending 60-90 minutes at each. During your tastings, the winery staff will offer insight into specific blends and selections. On the weekdays, lunch will be served at the second winery stop, a picnic-style set up by the guide. We will collect your lunch orders in advance, and guides will also provide cold beverages and snacks to accompany your main course. We are usually done by 4pm, heading back to town with drop-off in Santa Barbara generally between 4:30 and 5:30pm.

Bring a reusable water bottle and your photo ID. Please let us know where you would like to be picked up at least 2 days before departure. Pick-up times will be confirmed the day prior to your trip. If we do not hear from you with a pickup location, we will pick you up at the Garden Street Visitor's Center at 1 Garden St., Santa Barbara, CA 93101 To help speed up the check-in process, please use the link below to have all guests complete their waivers prior to arrival. Each guest must have their own signed waiver and the same link can be used for each guest: https://tinyurl.com/WineWaiver Lunch: Your order may be submitted to letsgo@sbadventureco.com at least 2 days prior to trip departure. Guests may opt for one selection by replying with the number(s) associated with the sandwich or the name(s) of the salad they would prefer. If we do not hear back with your lunch selections, we will select a variety of half-sandwich/half-salad meals with a mix vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. We pick up/drop off at all hotels, vacation rentals, and private accommodations in Santa Barbara, Goleta, and the Santa Ynez Valley. Alternatively, we can pick you up at the Santa Barbara Visitors Center at 1 Garden St, Santa Barbara, CA. Departure Point: Your accommodation or the Santa Barbara Visitor Center (Garden St.) Address: Santa Barbara Visitor Center parking lot, 1 Garden Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101 (unless hotel/residence pick up is arranged) Directions to the Santa Barbara Visitor Center (Garden St. Parking Lot) From the South: Take Hwy 101 North toward Santa Barbara. As you enter the Santa Barbara area, exit at 96B Garden St./Laguna. Keep left to take the Garden St. ramp. Turn left onto Garden St. Drive .4 mi. across the train tracks and turn right. Park in the lot just behind the Santa Barbara Visitor Center (1 Garden St., at the intersection of Cabrillo and Garden). Parking fees may apply. Your wine guide will meet you in the Visitor Center parking lot by the restrooms. From the North: Take Hwy 101 South toward Santa Barbara. As you enter the Santa Barbara area take the Garden St. Exit, 96B. Turn right at the end of the off-ramp onto Garden St. Drive .4 mi. across the train tracks and turn right. Park in the lot just behind the Santa Barbara Visitor Center (1 Garden St., at the intersection of Cabrillo and Garden). Parking fees may apply.
