What your day looks like
Join us for a relaxing sunset ocean kayak tour. This is a great way to end your day. We’ll enjoy 2-hours together on the water exploring the Santa Barbara harbor & shoreline as the sun sets, creating a gorgeous backdrop of the city and the Santa Ynez Mountain range. This tour is fun and affordable for the whole family! Plus, it’s great for all sea kayaking skill levels including beginners to advanced.

Detailed Itinerary
The journey, in full
Start by getting outfitted with paddle jackets, personal flotation devices (PFDs), a paddle, and a kayak. Your guide will provide a paddling demonstration and safety talk, then ensure you are comfortable in your kayak. Set out on the water from the boat launch and paddle through the harbor, passing boats, the historic wharf, under the pier, and along the beach. Along the way, look for wildlife like harbor seals, sea lions, brown pelicans, sea stars, cormorants, and dolphins. Expect to paddle approximately one to two miles (1.5–3 km) before returning to the boat launch where your tour began.

What to Bring
Bring water and a snack, and wear comfortable clothes made of synthetic materials. You can expect to get wet from the waist down on the kayaks.
Restrictions
The minimum age for kayaking 5 years old. Children 12 and under must ride in a double kayak with an adult.

Easy to contact and wonderful customer service. We missed our actual Sunset timed tour at 4:45 due to travel incident along the way but they were kind enough to rebook us the next day for a morning kayak tour.
