The journey, in full
Evening Departure: Your astronomer will meet you at your lodging in Big Sky (or designated area) to begin the journey to a hand-selected, low-light-pollution site. Sunset Wildlife & Photography: As we travel to our secluded location we remain alert for sunset wildlife movement, offering unique opportunities for evening photography. Telescope Alignment: Settle in as we deploy high-powered, computerized telescopes capable of tracking celestial objects with pinpoint accuracy. Guided Stargazing: Star Gazing in Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem Cosmic Education: Learn about the history of astronomy, the physics of the stars, and the unique atmospheric conditions that make Montana one of the best viewing locations in the United States.

Meeting & Pickup
We pick up at central meeting points and various hotels throughout the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. Your exact pickup time and tour duration will be determined by your hotel location and the season. Please note your pickup time and location for reference. Please be ready and waiting at the central meeting location or hotel lobby a few minutes before your pickup. Allow an additional 5–10 minutes for your guide to arrive in case of delays.
