Alpine Departure: Begin your journey from Big Sky, traveling through the scenic Gallatin Canyon as the sun begins to illuminate the frost-covered peaks. The Northern Corridor: Navigate the exclusive 50-mile stretch of maintained road. The high snowpack in the surrounding mountains pushes wildlife down into this corridor, creating a density of sightings unique to this season. Wolf & Predator Tracking: Winter is peak season for wolf activity. Your guide will utilize high-powered optics to locate and observe wild gray wolves and red foxes as they navigate the Lamar Valley. Your exact pickup time and tour duration will be determined by your hotel location and the season. Please make note of your pickup time and location and save it for your reference. Please be ready and waiting in the central meeting location or hotel lobby a few minutes before your pickup. Please allow an additional 5–10 minutes for your guide to arrive in case they are delayed for any reason. Changes to trip timing may be made to accommodate daylight or optimum wildlife viewing conditions.
