Andy from Plan your Own Adventure Tours made contact with us the day before. Since we had had a pretty thorough trolley tour and been in Historic Downtown Savannah several times we decided to go to Hilton Head. Andy was a knowledgeable and interesting guide. He stopped in a few small towns on the way to Hilton Head to show us around and point out places of interest. He showed us and talked about the various waterways along the coast. We went to a beautiful white sand beach and walked around a bit. It was a sunny and hot day so we hopped back in the air conditioned car and continued our tour of the island. We ate a very good lunch with Andy at the Hilton Head Tavern where we learned more about the island and South Carolina. We highly recommend his tours!
