Pet the Puppies, Yukon Experience & Summit Tour
What your day looks like
You WILL be leaving the United States and Entering Canada on this bus tour. Follow in the footsteps of the 1898 Gold Rush stampeders up the White Pass and into the Yukon! Start your adventure by traveling up the Klondike Highway while you take in wildlife, waterfalls, glacier-covered mountains & views of the White Pass Railroad. Once into Canada (Province of British Columbia aka B.C.) you'll pass through the subarctic alpine tundra of the Tormented Valley, with views of Summit Lake. You'll continue through B.C. where you'll stop at Canada Customs at Fraser B.C, and the Yukon Territory. Photo opportunities might be available at the British Columbia and Yukon signs, time permitting. Our featured stop is the Tagish Lake Dog Sledding Camp. Here, you'll get a glimpse into the history of sled dog use throughout Canada and Alaska. You'll get to see the dogs in action and play with puppies. You'll also get to meet real-life trainers & mushers! There is a gift shop for snacks and souvenirs to take home as a way to remember this once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

What travelers are saying
Mariah was OUTSTANDING!!! informative, funny, genuine best person to spend the day with and of course she was very knowledgeable of the area that we saw. I will highly recommend her again. We all had a fun day!! Thanks Mariah!!
Tour was great. Guide Adam was great.
The title and description were very misleading. Our guide was fantastic, but we were taken up to the sledding camp which had 5 or six dogs in a open area that you went into. We were given no information at all about the camp while there. The dogs had absolutely no interest in humans. If you bought the upgraded package, you were taken to a separate area and taken on a ride in a ranger with the sled dogs and given a educational speak. The rest of us just hung out while this occurred. After that we then went to photo points along the road which was beautiful. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, and pleasant.
We enjoyed our time at Pet the Puppies! Yukon and White Pass Summit stops were limited and I wish we were provided more background or history of the areas.
It was amazing. We loved the whole experience
