Adams, and then you'll be guided step by step through Mt. Adams sharing its history. The tour stops at what is now the Monastery Event Center and you'll hear how Mt. Adams got its name and the history of the old Monastery. You'll then stop outside this church and see one of the best views in town. And you'll hear the story of the people who founded it and the Irish and German immigrants who made this home. You will be exploring the streets of Mt. Adams discovering its history, streets, and stories. You'll learn about its legends, history, historical figures, hidden gems, best views and so much more. An amazing view of the city and is a great spot for pics. While here you'll hear the stories of the vineyards that once grew here and the man that made Mt. Adams artsy. Another great view! You'll see the city from another angle and hear about and see the ruins of the old train that once ran here. Great views of the OTR and city, and you'll hear about the bridge and the history of the area. This is one of the many great views. You'll stop at the Pilgrim Chapel United Church of Christ and learn its history and how it was built here. You'll also learn about the immigrants here and a bit about the Underground Railroad. The tour ends at the old bar that was once owned by one of the most notorious bootleggers in history. You'll hear the story of the bootlegger, the prohibition, murder, the FBI, and its history.
