What your day looks like
This 7.5 to 8-hour excursion is ideal for travelers who are looking to discover all of what Prince William Sound has to offer, including amazing glaciers and exciting wildlife. Cruise the majestic waters of Prince William Sound from Valdez to Meares Glacier. En route, our captains will travel the shorelines looking for the animals that call the Sound home. This tour has time to travel to the locations where we typically spot sea otters, harbor seals, sea lions, Humpback or Orca Whales, porpoise, bald eagles, puffins, cormorants, and more. Onboard, our captains will share with you stories of the Sound, including early exploration, gold and copper mining, oil shipping, commercial fishing, and the 1964 Earthquake. A bagel snack and early afternoon lunch are served.

The journey, in full
You will check in at 8 AM at our office located at 112 N Harbor Drive. Boarding will begin at 8:30 AM. You will explore the shorelines of Prince William Sound to Meares Glacier, looking for wildlife along the way and enjoying the narration on the history and natural history of the area. Tour will return to Valdez around 4:30 PM.

Please wear warm clothes, flat soled shoes and bring your camera and binoculars.
Meeting & Pickup
Address: 112 N Harbor Dr, Valdez, AK 99686. Our office is located in the Valdez Small Boat Harbor area located on North Harbor Drive. Please drive to the west end of the North Harbor Drive (the end where the Best Western Hotel is located). Park anywhere along North Harbor Drive, it is free parking, and walk to our office that is located directly behind the Best Western Valdez. The office is on pilings overhanging the water directly above the tour boats.
