The Experience

What your day looks like

Our most popular tour—this 2-hour glacier trekking adventure, led by our knowledgeable interpretive guides, oers an amazing blend of ightseeing, ice trekking, and exploration. Enjoy sweeping views of the massive Juneau Iceeld and Tongass National Rainforest on your helicopter ight to base camp. Upon landing, there is an emphasis on learning the proper use of mountaineering gear and understanding the glacial features and hazards so that remote areas of the glacier can be accessed during the trek. This is your opportunity to explore some of the Juneau Iceeld’s most pristine areas that few in the world will ever get to witness. No experience is necessary, however, guests should be prepared to hike on uneven, rolling, and sometimes steep terrain for two hours

Roberts Tram as it is a convenient location for cruise ship guests. If you have guests that are staying at a hotel we are able to accommodate a different pick-up/drop-off location, we just need to be notified so the reservation reflects that information and our drivers know where to go.
