Detailed Itinerary

The journey, in full

You will meet your tour guide at 768 Decatur Street. That is where you will begin your walk through the past with stories of our 300+ years. You will see St Louis Cathedral, the most photographed church in the south. Your guide will be happy to take a picture of you there. You will visit the Mississippi River which is the reason New Orleans exists. As you continue your walk with us, you will see the architecture of the French Quarter as we walk. We will discuss with you how that came to be. You will see the oldest building in the entire Mississippi River Valley and learn in captivating history. You will also see the second oldest structure in New Orleans and we will enlighten you on how it survived and what it does now. As you walk and explore, you will hear the history of the Native Americans, enslaved, French, Spanish, Creole and mixed races who made this land home. There's so much more that you will see and here about on this tour. You will experience the pulse of the city like none other on this tour of the French Quarter. When the tour ends, the stories don't. We will be glad to send you a PDF of extra information, history and pictures, just for the asking.
