The Experience
What your day looks like
Travel down Wears Valley Road and through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park to "the prettiest drive in America." Our expert local guide will explain the nuances and history of the rugged terrain that stretches as far as the eye can see. The tour will first make its way down Little River Gorge Road to the historic town of Townsend. There will be a short walk to the River and stories of the area's lumber history. Once on the Parkway, you'll stop at picture-perfect overlooks for photo ops against panoramic backdrops. Oftentimes, the mountains will be blanked in the smoke-like mist for which they're famous. Once you get back to town, enjoy a 15-minute 4x4 ride on a forested four-wheel drive adventure on private land.

No children under 2 permitted on this tour. Guests with limited mobility may choose to stay in the vehicle at stops. Pregnant guests cannot take the 4x4 portion of tour, though can wait at a covered pavilion. For the safety of our passengers, all guests must have upper body strength with the ability to hold themselves up during the tour. Guests are responsible for getting themselves in and out of our vehicles for their tour.
