Detailed Itinerary

The journey, in full

We meet early at the entrance to The Manhattan at Times Square pick-up hotel. We begin the tour through the southwest of Manhattan, towards Philadelphia, this journey will take us an average of 2 hours plus a stop along the way for breakfast. Philadelphia - The City of Brotherly Love: When we arrive in Philadelphia, we will immerse ourselves in the fascinating history of this city. We will visit the oldest street in the country and visit the house where the first US flag was designed. It is the oldest street in the United States 1703 with Georgian and Federal style houses and cobblestone alley pavement were common in Philadelphia during this era. The houses are usually small and many are uniquely Philadelphia Trinity houses. It is a landmark of interest in the city of Philadelphia, where seamstress and flag maker Betsy Ross (1752-1836) supposedly lived when she is said to have sewn the first American flag. Iconic place where they created and signed the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. You will be surprised by the history of these emblematic monuments! The Declaration House was the place where Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence in 1775, where he managed to establish equality and the defense of human rights. In addition, we will visit Carpenter Street (the oldest in the United States), the house of Betsy Ross (designer of the American flag) and a Masonic Center, we will enjoy the famous JFK Park, known as the Park of Love because of the work by Robert Indiana, "LOVE." We will visit the stairs where the movie Rocky was filmed. Without a doubt, this is one of the most visited points in the city, and we will have the opportunity to take photos with the Rocky statuette and climb the steps where he trained. After exploring Philadelphia, we will depart for Lancaster to immerse ourselves in the culture and traditions of the Amish community. We will visit a traditional Amish Village, where we will witness their traditional way of life and their focus on simplicity and self-sufficiency. This unique community is notable for its rejection of modern technology and electricity. It will be an authentic and enriching experience to learn about their customs, crafts and way of life. Finally, we will leave behind the city of brotherly love, a beautiful city full of history. We will leave again for New York, and arrival will be at approximately 6:00 p.m.
