The Experience

What your day looks like

See World One, Financial District, Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island whilst enjoying a complimentary beer, wine or Champagne from the bar. Experience a beautiful New York City sunset and the illuminated cityscape during a comfortable and unique NYC Harbor sunset cruise through the Hudson. Sit back and enjoy the gorgeous 360-degree view of the island from the open decks or the glassed-in back-deck observatory of these Gatsby-esque 1920's style yachts. On this 1.30-hour cruise, take in picturesque views from our glassed-in observatory. A beautiful full bar and specialty NY State wines by the bottle available for purchase aboard the Yacht Manhattan or Manhattan II. (One complimentary drink is included.) We will travel south from Chelsea Piers on the Hudson River, passing the West Village and Tribeca portion of Hudson River Park. Cruise along the Hudson River and New York Harbor. We then make a wide pass through the New York City Harbor to grab a spectacular view of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, the Financial District, and the complete NYC skyline before heading north on the Hudson River to return to Chelsea Piers. Along with your captain, there is a minimum of two crew members on every sail to make sure you feel comfortable and at home on the water. We are stocked with water, beverages, and life jackets should you feel you need one. It is very rare for our guests to become seasick. While most people do not experience any sea sickness on our motor yachts, you may want to consider light medication if you normally take it for motion sickness. We cannot officially advise you to take any medication, however. Our cruise will end at the same pier from which it departed. The aft-deck observatory of these yachts is a completely enclosed area with a roof, so in the event of rain, you will be covered. This cruise is very lightly narrated by the captain or a crew member. This cruise is particularly great for sightseeing of lower Manhattan, and it tends to be a hit among locals, couples, and guests coming straight from work. In efforts to make this event most relaxing, the only light narration is provided and light music is also played.

I would have liked a little narration as to what we were seeing.

Incredible tour! Lovely crew, great boat, and such a fun way to experience the NYC skyline.

Booked this last minute through PE and SO glad I did! For a NYC birthday celebration, I met my friend and her boyfriend for this tour and easily boarded the boat with our pre-purchased tickets. Nice selection of beer/wine/champagne (even N/A beers!) that came with our ticket, a warm/cozy environment on the boat (indoors), and the option to step out for sight-seeing and picture taking. It was honestly better than I hoped for and expected: easy to find, intimate atmosphere on-board, GORGEOUS views of the city and the Statue of Liberty, and not so many people that it felt like a tourist trap. Highly recommend this tour and would go again- a perfect pre-dinner city excursion.
