The Experience

What your day looks like

Join us for an easy and enjoyable electric-assist bicycle ride to the end of Ketchikan's famous 'road to nowhere'—the edge of our paved road system. Your journey begins at our marina, where you'll pedal battery-powered Pedego E-Bikes featuring multiple levels of pedal assist. This allows you to choose exactly how much exercise you want, making the uphill stretches effortless and ensuring everyone keeps up easily. The paved road dead-ends at the edge of an extensive wilderness: the lush Tongass National Forest at Settlers Cove State Park. After parking and securing the e-bikes, you will take a guided nature hike on an enjoyable 1-mile loop trail through the dense, vibrant rainforest, walking along a stream filled with waterfalls and rapids while taking in beautiful beach views. After the hike, you'll cross the stream, return to your e-bikes, and enjoy a scenic 5-mile ride back to our marina. There, you'll celebrate the adventure with delicious smoked salmon, local vegan options, and refreshing beverages at the scenic, oceanfront Clover Pass Resort.
