Your adventure kicks off at our Kaanapali beach location, where you’ll get a beginner-friendly scuba lesson. You’ll meet your guide and go over a safety rundown. Your pre-arranged gear that includes a dive mask, wetsuit, boots, and open-heel fins will be waiting for you. After gearing up, you’ll step into the ocean to start your first Maui dive! Perfect for novices, this guided dive reveals vibrant marine life like turtles, octopuses, moray eels, butterflyfish, and parrot fish, with Humpback Whale songs audible from December to April. This introductory dive is your top chance to spot a Hawaiian Green Turtle! Your dive will start with a concise briefing on safety, skills, and hand signals, then ease into confidence-building exercises with your instructor—first at the surface, then in shallow water. After a quick “all okay” signal check, you’ll hover off the sand and fin-kick toward the reef.
