Charter fishing in Hoonah (Icy Strait), Alaska is the trip of a lifetime. Experience Alaska at its finest. What trip to Alaska would be complete without a private fishing charter excursion? After all, Icy Strait is one of the best Halibut fishing spots in the World! We start at the docking facility for pick-up. It's a short van ride to the city harbor. There we board the boat and are on the water!

Restrictions
Must have a fishing license, and in hand on the day of the tour. (Instructions on where to purchase given after booking) Guests will need to navigate a ramp that can be steep depending on the tides. Walking up and down a steep incline is required to reach the boat at the harbor. The ramp is equipped with railings for support
Meeting & Pickup
Please try to arrive at Excursion Hub as soon as you can for the 1st-morning trip. There may be others waiting to depart. For all trips after, arrive 15 minutes early. Adventure Landing: #1 docking Upon entering the terminal building, proceed inside and look for the exit on the right-hand side. Once outside, follow the footpath located on the opposite side of the Transporter, which will lead you to the meeting hub. Follow the signs along the way. The walk to the meeting hub takes approximately 5-7 minutes Wilderness Landing: #2 docking Use green gondola to bring you to road leading to excursion Hub. There is road to right of gondola that you can walk, it runs parallel to gondola. The walk is around a football field and is faster than waiting in line. Signage will direct you excursion Hub.
