What your day looks like
Embark on a thrilling 5-day adventure through Tunisia, where the desert landscapes and ancient sites served as the backdrop for some of the most iconic scenes in the Star Wars saga. Day 01: Depart from Tunis, Hammamet, or Sousse to Kairouan to explore the Medina, Okba Ibn Nafaa Mosque, and Sidi Saheb Mausoleum. Enjoy lunch before heading to Tozeur for dinner and an overnight stay in a 4-star hotel. Day 02: Visit the Star Wars locations at Chebika, Mides Canyon, and Ong Jmal. Enjoy lunch in Tozeur, then take part in quad biking, carriage rides, and a camel ride before returning for dinner and an overnight stay in a 4-star hotel. Day 03: Visit the Star Wars locations at Chott El Jerid and Sidi-Bouhel Canyon, explore the petrified dunes, and enjoy a camel ride in Douz. Then, discover the troglodyte homes in Matmata before dinner and an overnight stay in a troglodyte hotel. Day 04: Visit Star Wars sites at Ksar Haddada, Ksar Ouled Soltane, and Chenini, explore Ksar Médenine, then travel to Djerba along the Roman road for dinner and an overnight stay in a 4-star hotel. Day 05: Visit the Cantina of Chalmun in Ajim (Djerba), explore the Roman Amphitheater in El Jem, and then return to Tunis, Hammamet, or Sousse to conclude your Star Wars adventure.

Welcome to this amazing trip! Your adventure begins as you depart from Tunis and head to Kairouan, one of Tunisia’s most revered cities.

Sightseeing at Chebika, Tozeur. Chebika – Mides – Ong Jemal (Tozeur) After breakfast, head to Chebika, a stunning oasis where scenes from the films were shot. Explore Mide Canyon, a dramatic location used in several Star Wars sequences, and then head to Ong Jmal, another key filming site.

Day 3

Sightseeing at Chott el Djerid. Chott El Djerid: After breakfast, head to Douz. Discover Chott El Djerid, a vast salt flat featured in Star Wars: A New Hope. Continue to the Sidi-Bouhel Canyon, a striking desert landscape, before reaching Douz, the “Gateway to the Sahara.” Experience a camel ride (optional) through the desert and explore the surreal petrified dunes.

Sightseeing. Matmata: In the afternoon, visit the troglodyte homes in Matmata, used as Luke Skywalker’s home in the original film.

Day 4
Tataouine
City/Town Tour at Ksar Hadada Village. Ksar Hadada: After breakfast, head to Ksar Hadada. Visit several remarkable Star Wars sites, including Ksar Haddada and Ksar Ouled Soltane, ancient fortified structures used as Tatooine set locations.
