What your day looks like
Travel back in time to discover some of the oldest cities in Portugal and see historic monuments existing side by side with modern-day life. Choose a guided public or private tour according to your preferences. Meet at the meeting point with the guide, or if you prefer to be picked up at the hotel (extra cost), begin the day by visiting Braga, nicknamed the "Rome of Portugal" for its rich culture and traditions. See the emblematic squares and churches of Portugal's oldest city, along with monuments such as the Sé Cathedral, Bom Jesus Sanctuary and Sameiro Sanctuary. After visiting the monuments in Braga, delight yourself with the delicious dishes of Portugal in a typical restaurant of the city of Braga (The guide will inform you about the dishes available on the day of the visit) Then travel to the medieval city of Guimarães, considered the "Cradle of Portugal." Walk the streets of the historic district and visit the main attractions and monuments, such as the Palace of the Dukes, Guimarães Castle and S. Miguel Chapel.

Joao was an excellent guide. Took us everywhere. Saw so many interesting and fun places. Watched them get small race cars ready for a big race . Joao was with us the entire time. Such a fun day! Lunch was delicious and very enjoyable. Served with their very refreshing green wine! It was a great day. Highly recommend Joao Jesus as your guide. He does so much research in advance in order to make the experience quite enriching.
