What travelers are saying
My husband and I took this food tour today (September 10, 2025) and it was the absolute highlight of our visit! Our guide, Andre, was simply fantastic. His passion for his city, its culture, and its incredible food was infectious and made the entire experience truly special. We visited some amazing local spots we never would have discovered on our own, from bustling markets to charming, family-run cafes. Every single tasting was delicious and authentic. The advice to come with an empty stomach is no joke – you will be treated to so many wonderful flavors! What really made the day perfect was Andre. He was so knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. He didn't just guide us; he shared personal stories and historical insights that brought the city to life between each delicious stop. It felt like we were being shown around by a good friend. If you do one thing in Porto, do this tour. It’s the perfect way to dive into the local culture and cuisine. And if you are lucky enough to get Andre as your guide, you are in for an unforgettable afternoon. Thank you for a perfect day!
Raquel was the wonderful guide and did an amazing job. Showed us the quaint and authentic areas of Porto. The food was fabulous and we were very full at the end of our tour. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.
Our guide was terrific and informative, but this was more of a city tour. There were 3 food stops, the first was at a small sports bar where we sampled local meats, cheeses and fish cakes. The second stop was for pork sandwich and the final stop was for Nata Pastry. A good value and filled the 4 hours, but again as much of a city tour as food your.
