What your day looks like

The Dhampus-Australian Camp-Sarangkot with Paragliding Trip aims to give you an experience encompassing all the Annapurna region has to offer. You will walk along the lush hills and rhododendron forest to reach three famous vantage points, namely: Dhampus, Australian Camp, and Sarangkot. You will get a chance to get a breathtaking panoramic view of the Annapurna Range as the first rays of the sun strike the mountains. The trip will end with you paragliding over Pokhara Valley. The tour commences with your arrival in the Kathmandu Valley. Embark on a road trip to Pokhara along the lively Prithvi Highway and go through the highway towns of Kurintar and Muglin. After covering a distance of 200 km, we arrive at Pokhara. In Pokhara, you can spend the remainder of the day indulging in a quick sightseeing trip exploring the Lakeside. The trip to the Australian Camp starts with a quick drive to Phedi. The trek begins from Phedi and goes through rhododendron forests and green hills. As we walk through Dhampus, we can see the rural settlements that live on the outskirts of the city. The people here are mostly of Gurung, Tamang, and Chhetri. You get an amazing glimpse of Annapurna Range and Machhapuchhre. We finally reach Australian Camp which is a small settlement in the middle of the wilderness. The trail leads us to Sarangkot from there where we can see the glorious sunrise that illuminates the mountains like Annapurna I (8091m), Dhaulagiri (8167m), and Machhapuchhre (6993m). From here, we shall take a quick paragliding tour. The flight shall cover the Pokhara Valley and you can see the entire Pokhara Valley from a bird’s eye view. Today, you land in Tribhuvan International Airport and arrive in Kathmandu. You will meet our company representative in the airport and they will transfer you to your hotel. Along the way, he shall brief you on the major events about this trip and he shall assist you in completing the paperwork. Day 2

Pokhara

Sightseeing at Pokhara Valley. Wake up early, and after a fulfilling breakfast, get on a vehicle and head towards the Pokhara valley. The drive takes you through Prithvi Highway and along the way, you can will get a glimpse into the rural lifestyle of Nepal. In Pokhara, you can take a quick stroll near Lakeside and even go boating in the Phewa Lake

Day 3

Hiking. A quick ride will first take you to Phedi which is the commencing point of this trek. The road goes through Dhampus, a quaint hill station that offers amazing glimpses of Annapurna Range and Machhapuchhre (6993m). The trek from Phedi to Australian camp takes us along rhododendron forests and green hills. The camp is a small settlement in the middle of the wilderness which comprises small teahouses

Day 4

Hiking at Phewa Lake. After spending a night in Australian camp, we head on to Sarangkot for a sunrise view. From the hill station, you can see Annapurna (8091m), Dhaulagiri (8167m), and Machhapuchhre (6993m), and Pokhara Valley including Phewa Lake. The view of the rising sunlight reflected onto these mountains, and the change of color is breathtaking. You will find the station packed with tourists

Day 5

Pokhara

Paragliding at Pokhara Valley. Today, you enjoy paragliding from Sarangkot. There are three types of paragliding methods available and you can pick whichever you feel most comfortable. The flight goes across the Pokhara Valley, and it provides you amazing view of the snow laden mountains, surrounding lush hills, and lakes of Pokhara valley
