The Experience

What your day looks like

The Nar Phu trek is one of the different and extraordinary treks around the Annapurna region. If you want to experience something different and diverse in your trip then this trek can be the best choice for you. If you love to travel through the wilds along the rough and rugged terrain and through the less traveled trail, the Nar Phu trek is the one for you. This trek will take you through many villages where you will get to experience the traditional culture and lifestyle from close. Most Mongolian tribes reside in this region. The warm hospitality offered by the Nepalese people at the lodges and tea houses along the way is appreciated. The vast cultivation areas and pasture land for yak grazing look simply beautiful with the mountainous beauty in the background. The village areas have various chortens, gompas, and monasteries. We will be visiting these sites as well. People here mostly follow Buddhist religion and you will get the chance to observe their religious practices from close. The trails at times get narrow and rough, and sometimes become difficult to walk due to steepness. Despite the strenuous walk the exceptional natural beauty of the walk through the lush evergreen forests makes you forget the pain and makes the walk more pleasurable. The major highlight of this trek is visiting the Nar and Phu valley. These valleys are often called hidden valleys as they are situated in remote areas. The settlement areas here are uniquely built and this will give you a chance to understand the remote lifestyle from close. Overall, this trek offers you a variety of experiences of walking through the rugged terrain along with enjoying the beauty of the wilderness.
