What your day looks like
Manaslu is the eighth highest peak in the world stands at an altitude of 8,163m/26,781ft and lies in the Gorkha district. The area is protected by the Manaslu Conservation Area Project (MCAP). Manaslu Circuit Trek is one of the remote trekking sites in Nepal. The trek goes around Mount Manaslu and farthest to Manaslu base camp and Larkya La Pass. Larkya La Pass is the longest pass in Nepal and is also situated at a high altitude. Trekking around the Manaslu region offers you an amazing experience of being closest to the wildest nature. The closest view of mountainous beauty with glacial ridges and landscapes offers stunning views. In addition, the rivers, streams, and waterfalls that you come across on the trek will add beauty to the trip. You will walk through plains and hills along the narrow and rugged terrain. You will pass through many ancient villages along the way. The people live a quiet and traditional lifestyle. Mostly Tibetan Buddhist culture is followed in this region and people are far from technology. Day 1
Kathmandu
Welcome to Kathmandu! Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, we offer you pick up facility from the airport and manage your stay at the most comfortable hotel in the city. You get to meet the team of trekkers and together we prepare for the trek.

Day 2
Kathmandu
Local Flavor at Swayambhunath. Kathmandu Valley We offer you a short trip to historical and cultural sites around Kathmandu valley: Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath Stupa and Pashupatinath temple. You can also do some souvenir shopping during the sightseeing. After sightseeing, we head back to the hotel and get our clothing and trekking equipment ready and prepare for the trek.

Day 3
Kathmandu
Drive to Soti Khola After an early morning breakfast, we begin our lovely journey heading out of the valley towards the trail-head at Soti Khola. Crisscrossing several hills, our journey continues to wind down the Prithvi Highway with the roaring Trishuli River by our sides. Enjoying the stunning hilly landscapes which dominate the skyline, we reach the town of Arughat, beyond which lies the hamlet of Soti Khola.

Day 4
Kathmandu
Hiking. Trek to Macha Khola Up and over the suspension bridge with Soti Khola beneath us, we head deeper and deeper into the lush green forests and towards the opening valley. The trail begins its gradual rise through the hill stations as Budhi Gandaki continues to flow beneath us. Reaching the village of Khursane, we take a short break before once again picking up the pace through the terraced farmlands and reaching Lapubesi Followed by Machha Khola.

Day 5

Eco Tour at Budhi Gandaki River. Trek to Jagat We start with the walk through the narrow trail that takes us the bank of a river. We continue the walk and after some walking, we catch the trail along the bank of Budi Gandaki river. From there trail leads us to a beautiful countryside village. We walk further ahead and head towards Jagat.

Day 6
Kathmandu
Hiking. Trek to Deng We start today’s trek with uphill climbing. The uphill walk will take us to Salleri and from there we take a downhill walk and head down to Setibas. Further ahead, we come across a suspension bridge. Passing the bridge, we reach a village called Philim. The village is mostly populated by Gurung community. We then pass Budi Gandaki river and walk through the bank of the river. The view of river, banks and the surrounding beauty is beyond explanation. We then shortly reach Deng Khola. We continue our walk until reaching Deng village.

Day 7

Hiking. Trek to Ghap We start our trek early in the morning leaving Deng behind. We walk through the bank of Budi Gandaki river. From there the trail takes uphill turn and leads us to Rana. We then take the trail towards Budi Gandaki valley. We come across beautiful streams and waterfalls on our way. The natural beauties around energize us uplift our spirit. We then walk down towards Sringi valley. The trail then takes us through the forest area and finally to Ghap.

Day 8
Kathmandu
Hiking. Trek to Lho The day starts with the walk alongside the river and then through the forest area. We cross the river and continue our walk through the flat trail. Walking further ahead we reach Narmu village. We get to see the beauty if Himal Chuli mountain and Ganesh Himal on the way. The trail then takes downhill turn and we pass through barley fields.

We then finally reach Lho and prepare for the night’s stay.
Day 9
Kathmandu
Hiking. Trek to Samagon The trek starts with a walk through the dense forest area. Walking through the green forest gives you a pleasant feeling. On our way ahead we can view the mountainous ranges around. The walk ahead will take us to Shyala and from there through the downhill walk, we finally reach Sama village. The surrounding from there is simply amazing.

Day 10
Kathmandu
Hiking. Acclimatization day Today is the acclimatization day and we rest and try to adjust our bodies to the changed environmental and weather conditions. We stroll around the village and visit a Buddhist monastery there. We enjoy the surrounding views and spend our day thus.

Day 11
Kathmandu
Hiking at Budhi Gandaki River. Trek to Samdo We start our day with a downhill walk towards Budi Gandaki river. The trail moves further north and crosses the suspension bridge on the way. From here Larkya La Pass trail begins. The trail then passes through juniper and birch forest. We continue our walk towards Samdo.

Day 12

Eco Tour. Trek to Larkya Rest House We continue walking through the same trail and shortly afterwards come across the bridge over Budi Gandaki river. Walking further ahead the trail takes us to another stream and crossing the stream we move towards Larkya Phedi.

Day 13
Kathmandu
Hiking. Trek BimTang We take a walk through the northern side of Larkya glacier. We can get an amazing view of Larkya peak from there. We walk further uphill through the glacial trail. We then reach the highest point of Larkye La Pass and the view from the top is simply amazing. The mountain peaks like Annapurna II, Kanguru, Cheo Himal and many others can be viewed from there.

Then we head towards Bimtang for the night’s stay.
Day 14
Kathmandu
Hiking. Trek to Dharapani We start our walk early through dense rhododendron forest and through the fields. We then reach Karche. The view of Mount Manaslu on the way is up close and exotic. We can also view Mount Annapurna and other snowy peaks. We then pass through beautiful landscapes, fields, streams, forests, and human settlement areas on our way to Dharapani.

Day 15
Kathmandu
Hiking. Trek to Bahundanda We take the downhill trail towards the river. We cross the bridge over the river and head further towards Tal. We then take downhill walk through Ghermu Phat. We get to enjoy the view of waterfalls and mountains on our way. We then reach the base of Bahundada.

We continue walking uphill and stop for the night’s stay in a lodge there.
Day 16
Kathmandu
Hiking. Trek to Besisahar We leave Bahundada behind and walk ahead passing Lampata. We then pass through Gurung and Tamang settlement areas before reaching Nandi Khola. From there the trail takes us to Dovan Chaur and towards Nadi Bazar. We cross Bhulbhule on our way. We then walk alongside the bank of Marsyangdi river and finally reach Besisahar.

Day 17
Kathmandu
Drive to Kathmandu Today we will drive back to Kathmandu from Besisahar. We enjoy the bus ride watching the green scenery around. The bus heads ahead towards Dumre and from there, towards Kathmandu through Prithvi Highway.

Day 18
Kathmandu
Thank you for visiting! Today is the final day and we get ready for the departure. We offer you the facility to drop at the Tribhuvan International Airport.
