What travelers are saying
Amazing tour with a great guide! Would book it again!
Had our tour with the lovely Joshua, food was amazing as was the tour. His knowledge of all things Japanese was fabulous, had a great evening. Thanks again Joshua.
Loved it! A highlight of the trip!
This was an excellent introduction to the street food scene in Osaka. Ferdinand was knowledgeable about the area and the food and his choice of the 3 restaurants allowed us enough of each style to get the sense of what there is to eat. He also handled the retrieval of my mobile phone, which I misplaced in the train station, like a true professional. I suggest trying to do this tour at the beginning of your stay in Osaka and use a reference for the rest of your time there.
They LOVED this tour and said was the best food they had in their 2 weeks in Japan
My family and I loved this tour. It's definitely off the beaten path and rough around the edges, but that's great if that's what you're looking for. Our guide Hugo was extremely informative being a foreigner who's fully integrated in Japan, so he's happy to answer whatever silly questions you throw at him, however basic or complex. The food was plentiful and tasty, a great way to try dishes you never would have known to order yourself. Less street food focused and more local/salaryman style dining.
Really good food, lots of stops
This was a great tour and Kevin was amazing! He was so knowledgeable about the city, food, and culture. We had so much fun spending time with him and getting immersed in the city and eating like locals. Would definitely book this tour again!
