Carlo walked us through the lesser known streets of Palermo for truly authentic Sicilian food! We also visited well-known locations with a track record of the best of the best delicacies. Carlo was knowledgeable about the history of the food and Palermo. A truly memorable food tour. We had an amazing arincina and a spleen "slider"! Not to mention access to Gelato, Granite and pastries.

The tour guide for this event was excellent. She lived in the area and was so passionate about Palermo and its history and food. It was a small group in the evening so we saw nightlife and met shop owners. Loved every minute.

The tour was great and our guide, Andrea, was awesome however there were four Italian speaking young ladies on the tour who knowingly booked the English speaking tour. Andrea was very gracious and conducted the tour in both English and Italian however this took away time and experience from those of us who paid for an English speaking tour and it was unfair to Andrea who was forced to work twice as hard. Again, the tour was great and Andrea was great overall but we definitely feel that we were cheated by the four participants who did not understand or speak English.
