What your day looks like
Taormina and Savoca's tour are one of the most exciting Sicily day tours from Messina (port or city centre) in particular for the lovers of The Godfather. From the departing point we will reach the ancient town of Savoca Sicily, a wonderful medieval village, named one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. You will start a little Savoca tour, following the footsteps of the Godfather movie by F.F. Coppola, to whom a statue is dedicated in the panoramic square of the village. This square is very popular also for hosting the famous bar Vitelli. Our guides will explain to you its history and its festivals. Then we will leave for Taormina, known as the “Pearl of the Mediterranean”. You will have a stroll in its ancient Corso Umberto. We did this tour yesterday and again it was way more than we expected!! What a lovely and fun personality Katia has, and filled with such pride of where she lives, so exceptional! Our bus driver was great also, Jackamo (spelling?) has a fun, friendly personality as well. We laughed so much during the tour! We walked the beautiful village of Savoca, tasted (and bought) pistachio Biscotti, saw so many of the places where "The Godfather" was filmed, took in absolutely breathtaking views and then went on to visit & explore Taormina, a cute village as well as beautiful views! Had a fantastic Cannoli and visited a few stores. So worth the money & time spent!! I was sad saying goodbye to them, hugged her and thanked her for a great day!

This tour was amazing! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and was also entertaining. She pointed out many things we would not have seen on our own. She was very passionate about giving the best tour possible. Miguel, our driver, was very good as well. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who is a Godfather lover!

This was a fabulous tour! Katia was our guide and she was absolutely wonderful. The tour stops were timed perfectly. We had a little added bonus that day of seeing the eruption of Mount Etna. My husband is a big Godfather fan and I love beautiful scenery and history. This tour checked all of the boxes for us. I highly recommend it!
