Although there is minimal walking on this tour, guests must be able to get in and out of the vehicle.
Meeting & Pickup
Santorini is a tender port. Passengers joining ship-organized excursions are usually disembarked first, followed by independent travelers. Tender boats will bring you from your cruise ship to the Old Port (Skala) below Fira. Only a short walk from the tender drop-off point, you will find the cable car station. The ride to Fira takes about 5 minutes and offers stunning panoramic views over the caldera, the sparkling Aegean Sea, and the dramatic cliffs — an experience in itself. The ticket cost is 10 Euro per person, payable on site. At the top, please proceed to the exit of the cable car station. Your guide will be waiting there, holding a sign "Panoramic Santorini".

This tour was perfect for us. Our guide met us as scheduled at the cable car station and she was thoughtful in keeping our group together. We had a great driver too. Her knowledge was excellent and she used large information cards to help us understand about Santorini. We were taken to a high point to take photographs of the island, the view was amazing. Later, were given time to shop and to go for lunch on our own in the charming little town. She met us on time afterwards and we were returned to the cable car station area on time.
