Enjoy a guided tour followed by a wine tasting with appetizers. Continue to Canava Roussos Winery, one of the oldest wineries on the island, established in 1836. You’ll spend approximately 45 minutes here touring the winery and sampling select wines. Conclude at the Koutsoyannopoulos Wine Museum, housed in an underground winery dating back to 1861. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. Our guide, Giorgi (sp?), was outstanding. She did a great job of informing us, while keeping the tour fun and funny. We experienced three wonderful wineries and learned a bunch about Greek wines. The settings and views were incredible as well.

Other than initial confusion and incorrect information at the Santorini office, the tour went off without a hitch. The guide was friendly and informative. The first and third wineries were beautiful and had delicious wines. The second winery was just okay and the underground museum was not my favorite. Overall, I would recommend this tour.

It was a very educational and informative experience, as well as a very enjoyable one. I’ve been to many wineries, in many wine regions and it’s always great to hear about their different methods of harvesting and production. I enjoyed the time that we had, and actually would have appreciated more time, or even another winery.
