Day 1
Accra
Welcome to Ghana! We will depart Accra for Elmina in Ghana’s Central Region, with a stop to visit the Cape Coast Castle, which was built by the Swedes in 1652 and later taken over by the British for a guided tour.

Sightseeing at Elmina Castle. Elmina Castle: In the afternoon, visit the Elmina Castle, built by the Portuguese in 1482, for a comprehensive guided tour, where you can view its distinct architecture and features. Afterward, check into your hotel, with the rest of the day free to relax on the beach.

City/Town Tour at Elmina. Elmina: In the early evening, go on a panoramic tour through the ancient town of Elmina. At the harbor, you will see the colorful fishing canoes preparing to set out for another night of fishing, offering a perfect photo opportunity.

Eco Tour at Kakum National Park. Kakum National Park: After breakfast, visit Kakum National Park, home to Africa’s only aerial walkway. Take a walk along the “Kuntan Trail,” lined with trees known for their medicinal properties, and experience the “Canopy Walkway,” suspended 100 feet above the forest floor, offering a panoramic view of the flora and fauna of the remaining Guinea rainforest.
