City/Town Tour at Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum. Accra City Tour: Embark on a full-day city tour of Accra, visiting notable landmarks such as the W.E.B. DuBois Center, the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum and Park, the Museum of Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade, the Arts and Crafts Market, and Makola Market, Accra’s largest open-air market. Drive through Old Accra, historically divided into Dutch and British sections due to the two European nations operating from different locations within the same township, covering an area of just under one square kilometer. Conclude the tour with a stop at Independence Square, Accra’s open-air ceremonial grounds where national celebrations are held, for a photo opportunity.

Eco Tour at Aburi Botanical Gardens. Aburi Botanical Gardens: In the morning, you will be picked up in Accra from your hotel or a location of your choice and driven along the winding Akuapim Ridge to visit the Aburi Botanical Gardens, established in 1890 as a convalescent center for British colonial officers who governed the Gold Coast, now known as Ghana. The tour continues with a visit and hike to Boti Waterfalls, where you’ll descend over 250 concrete steps to reach this stunning natural attraction. There is also an optional hike to see the nearby Umbrella Rock before returning to Accra.

Accra to Central Region: Depart from Accra early in the morning for a three-hour drive to Ghana’s Central Region.

Eco Tour at Kakum National Park. Kakum National Park: Visit Kakum National Park, one of Ghana’s most renowned parks, and begin with a brief walking tour along the forest floor before experiencing the Kakum Canopy Walkway—Africa’s only aerial walkway through the tree canopy. Spanning approximately 1,000 feet, this seven-bridge walkway features viewing platforms that rise over 150 feet above the forest floor. Along the way, you will gain firsthand insight into the cultural and medicinal significance of the forest’s diverse flora and fauna.

Sightseeing at Cape Coast Castle. Cape Coast Slave Castle: Visit Cape Coast Slave Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that served as one of the major departure points for Africans sent into slavery in the Americas and is home to the infamous "Door of No Return." After the tour, depart Cape Coast for the return journey to Accra, driving past the village of Abandze, the ancestral home of the renowned American jazz musician Louis Armstrong.
