What travelers are saying
Fotini was a wonderful guide, enthusiastic and well-prepared. She gave us so much information on the history of each food we tried, as well as how it reflected a piece of the overall history of Berlin. And the stops took us to areas of the city we would not have found on our own. The food portions we had at each stop were delicious and generously portioned. The final stop with a sit down tasting meal at Lemke was a great aspect of the tour. Drinks were a plus, especially the chance to try the local beers. We got the drinks supplement but were unsure of what to expect. The beer tasting board and schnapps provided as the supplementary drinks were almost too much for us! But somehow we managed.
The food was terrific and very plentiful. Our guide Fotini did a terrific job of explaining Berlin and the way in which the food fits into the local culture. This tour is a must do!
