What your day looks like
Host Bio: Jean-Yves was born in Vietnam and grew up in France. He started to cook as a young boy learning from his mother in the kitchen as he helped her prepare family meals. It was in the kitchen with his mother when he first discovered his love for cooking and baking. Professionally, Jean-Yves was an architect for over 20 years before he decided to follow his true passion, cooking. He re-designed a space in central Paris into a cooking workshop and a second home and enjoys introducing travelers to traditional French macaron making in his modern kitchen!

What travelers are saying
My daughter and I had a fantastic experience making macarons with Chef Jean-Yves. I would highly recommend this experience. It was one of a kind. We made and tasted delicious macarons and we were even able to take a bunch with us. Chef Jean-Yves was professional, kind, thorough, and patient. This was one of the best memories from Paris!!
This “macaron-making” class was not as described and certainly not worth price. No baking was done during the class, everything was already prepared and the macarons were simply assembled as a demonstration. If you are expecting a cooking class you will leave very disappointed.
We truly enjoyed our experience with Chef Jean-Yves. The space he has created is really cool (wine cellar converted to a dining area), he is warm and inviting and he was well prepared. His macaron's were beautiful. He went through the demo, our daughter participated, he provided a recipe card along with notepaper and pen. We sipped champagne and ate wonderful, homemade macaron's, what could be better?
Clients review - We also loved the Macaroon class. Lovely work space, he was very friendly, the only thing I will say about that was it was just shy of one hour and for the cost seemed a little short.
