Expert-led Montmartre Tour For Kids With Sacré-coeur
What your day looks like
The winding, cobbled streets and crooked buildings of Montmartre have inspired artists for over two hundred years. Formerly a village on the outskirts of Paris, Montmartre's unique atmosphere remains a tranquil contrast to the hustle and bustle of the greater city. From the late 19th century to the outbreak of WWI, it was the heart of bohemian and artistic life, with such illustrious inhabitants as Renoir, Van Gogh, and Picasso. Our 2.5-hour Montmartre For Kids walking tour, led by a scholar trained in guiding families, uncovers the history behind this storied neighborhood through the colorful and unusual experiences of the legendary creatives who lived there. Explore the cobbled streets where artists like Picasso and Toulouse Lautrec created masterpieces and where Van Gogh and Suzanne Valadon lived. Enjoy a hot chocolate at one of Modigliani’s favorite cafés or pass by a popular cabaret. With sketchpads in hand, children can capture these sights, building a personal connection with the artists’ world. As we stroll through these magical streets, we’ll gain insight into the artists’ lives, their styles, and how art developed. Our expert guide will bring these historical sites to life, inspiring young travelers to explore their creativity and discover more about the intriguing characters who have made Montmartre historic.

Laurent, was excellent and very accommodating in the heat!
My clients loved this tour. It was appropriate for the kids and they went to places that they never would have found on their own. The guide was great as well!
