Combo: Orsay + Montmartre Museum Guided Tour - Semi-Private
What your day looks like
Immerse yourself in the lives and art of the Impressionists on this 5.5-hour Musée d’Orsay and Montmartre combo tour. Tours are kept small, with no more than eight guests, allowing for a personalized journey through this revolutionary period in art and Parisian history. At the Musée d’Orsay, your guide will lead you through the repurposed train station originally built for the 1900 World’s Fair, now home to the world’s greatest collection of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist masterpieces. Discover the artistic upheavals and bold techniques that defined the movement, from Manet’s Olympia and Luncheon on the Grass to Renoir’s Dance at Le Moulin de la Galette and Van Gogh’s Starry Night Over the Rhone. You will then continue to Montmartre, with transport included, stepping back into the Belle Époque, a golden age of creativity when artists gathered in cafés and cabarets. Beginning at the Moulin Rouge, you will wind through Montmartre’s narrow streets before ending at the Sacré-Cœur, where panoramic views over Paris conclude the tour.

What travelers are saying
Excellent tour guide; Knowledgeable, interesting, polite and allowed us to ask questions and enjoy the tour.
My wife and I were not sure what to expect with our guided tour. We presumed it would be a typical walk through a museum and church while the guide recited scripted art descriptions. We were completely wrong. Belen Roncoroni was passionate, exceptionally knowledgeable, and excited to show us around. Her excitement was contagious. She brought the art and architecture alive by putting everything in context, including the life and times of the artists themselves. She cared about our response, input, and interests, and adjusted the tour accordingly. I cannot rate her skills as a guide and educator high enough, and am thankful she choose to share her talents with us. The tour and time we spent with Belen were the highlight of our trip to Paris.
