What your day looks like
The Cotswolds is an area renowned for its beautiful countryside, villages, and towns. On this full-day tour from Bath, we will explore the southern part of the Cotswolds - an area often missed by large tour groups. Driving through its picturesque countryside we will stop to visit charming villages and places with a Royal connection! One of our stops includes Castle Combe - the most famous village in the south Cotswolds and once voted England's prettiest village. The other picturesque villages are more off the beaten tourist path meaning fewer crowds! Throughout the day your knowledgeable guide will share interesting stories and history about the Cotswolds and the places you will visit!

Detailed Itinerary
The journey, in full
- Pick up from your accommodation in Bath at 9 am to begin our drive into the Cotswolds. - As you enjoy your first stop your guide will explain what makes the Cotswolds so famous. Then you will continue your drive to explore some of the iconic villages that make up this region. - One of the first villages you will explore is Castle Combe - the most famous village in the South Cotswolds. Your guide will take you on a walking tour of this tiny picturesque village and tell you about some of its movie connections! - The tour continues with 3 to 4 more stops at the picturesque villages. At each stop you will hear stories about the interesting places you see along the way - some even have a Royal connection. - Along the tour route, we will also include a stop for lunch at a charming village pub (please note lunch costs are not included in the price of the tour). - We will return to your accommodation in Bath around 5 pm.

What to Bring
We will be exposed to the weather during the tour so please bear this in mind for your clothing. During the tour, it may be possible to visit a garden (depending on the time of the year and the day of the week.) If you would like to visit the garden entrance fees will apply on the day.
Restrictions
With the exception of churches, we do not go inside any buildings during the tour. The vehicle accommodates up to 6 people, however, please note that the 2 seats in the 3rd row of the vehicle are not recommended for taller people.
Meeting & Pickup
You can be collected from your accommodation in Bath or a central location in the city e.g. the Bath Spa railway station.
