Seven Sisters and Brighton Small Group Tour
What your day looks like
This small-group tour is designed for visitors staying in Brighton who want to see the very best of the Seven Sisters cliffs and South Downs National Park, all in one relaxed and scenic day. You’ll meet your friendly local driver-guide just behind Brighton Train Station on Stroudley Road, outside the Leonardo Hotel, before setting off through the rolling countryside of the South Downs on our way to the coast. Our first main stop is Birling Gap, where we’ll spend around 1 hour and 15 minutes. Here, your guide will explain how the famous chalk cliffs were formed and why this coastline is so special. You’ll have time to explore at your own pace — walking along the clifftops towards Belle Tout Lighthouse, or, when access is open, heading down to the beach to see the cliffs from below and even dip your toes into the English Channel. There is a visitor centre, café, and restrooms available at this stop. Next, we make a short 15-minute drive to Seaford Head, one of the best viewpoints along the coast. From here, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the Seven Sisters stretching out in front of you. We’ll take a guided walk around the headland, spending approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes taking in the scenery from different angles — and if we’re lucky, you may even spot a seal bobbing in the sea below. After soaking up the coastal views, we return to Brighton (around 35 minutes) for a guided city highlights drive. As we travel through the city centre, your guide will point out Brighton’s main landmarks, neighbourhoods, and places to visit, helping you make the most of your time in the city. This final part of the tour lasts around 35–40 minutes. The tour finishes in Brighton city centre, where your driver-guide will be happy to offer local tips and recommendations for the rest of your stay.
