The journey, in full
Venture to the world's greatest landscape garden at Stourhead - the legacy of the Hoares, one of the wealthiest families of the Georgian era. Gaze awe-filled at the beauty of this sculpted, yet natural world replete with flora and fauna found all over the globe, interspersed with temples, follies, and grottoes that delight and surprise. Wander through the grand Palladian house the Hoares built as their family seat. Admire the classic artwork and exquisite craftmanship of the furniture and décor as you step back in time and into the lives of the ultra-wealthy at a time when Britannia ruled the waves. Then, following lunch at a stunning eatery, escape into authentic England to spend the afternoon admiring the gardens, art, and sculptures at a world-class gallery found in the most unexpected of places - a restored medieval farm. Admire the contemporary art and sculpture, peruse its unique contemporary garden, and then begin the journey back home, with one final stop at a historic town, another hidden gem, before arriving back in Bath, having enjoyed a truly extraordinary day, and with memories that will last forever!
