What your day looks like

Take an overnight first-sitting train from Cairo to Aswan, then relax on the deck of a 5-star Nile Cruise ship sailing down the Nile. Enjoy watching the beautiful Nile Valley scenery and the real Egyptian life. Explore the highlights of the sightseeing in Luxor and Aswan, and stop en route to visit the pharaonic sites of interest such as; Kom Ombo and Edfu Temples. Discover one of the most impressive temples in Egypt by visiting Abu Simbel 285 km south of Aswan. Experience the exciting trip of the Hot Air Balloon in Luxor. Have fun and enjoy plenty of night entertainment of the belly dancing show, galabia party, Nubian show or disco, and more in 4 days/3 night Nile Cruise every Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, or Friday from Aswan to Luxor. Day 1

Welcome to this trip! Egypt Gift Tours representative will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza to transfer to the train station to take your evening first-class sitting train to Aswan. (the train takes about 12 to 14 hours).

Day 2

Sightseeing at Aswan Dam. Aswand Dam: Our licensed tour guide will meet and assist you at Aswan railway station to be transferred by A/C van to your 5-star Nile Cruise to check in before lunch. Have lunch on board. Then, start your tour by visiting the High Dam; achieved in 1960 to protect Egypt from the flood and generate electricity.

Boating at Philae. Philae: Visit Philae temple; the Graeco Roman temple dedicated to goddess Isis using a small motorboat to get there. Later on, return to your cruise for dinner, a folkloric show, and overnight in Aswan.

Local Flavor at Abu Simbel Temples. Abu Simbel: Around 4:30, your guide will pick you up for the Abu Simbel trip(sharing a small group), to visit one of the most impressive places in Egypt; the rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel with their unique design built for King Ramesses 2nd and his beloved Queen Nefertari.

Local Flavor at Temple Of Kom Ombo. Kom Ombo City: Get back to the cruise by noon time. Have lunch and be ready for the cruise navigation by afternoon heading to Kom Ombo city where to visit the dual temple of Sobek, the crocodile God, and Horus, the Falcon God. Back to the cruise and have dinner.

Day 4

Carriage Tours at Temple Of Edfu. Edfu: Enjoy a Horse Carriage ride with your tour guide to visit the temple of Horus at Edfu which is considered to be the most complete and the best preserved of all the Egyptian temples. Return to the cruise. Relax on the deck watching the unique landscape and admire the beautiful scenery of the Nile River while sailing to Luxor. Cross Esna Lock, lunch on board, and afternoon tea on the sundeck. Late in the afternoon, arrive at Luxor dock, to be transferred to enjoy Luxor Temple on the East bank of Luxor; where ancient Egyptian, Christian, and Islamic features are exhibited. Dinner on board and belly dancing show.

Balloon Rides. Ballon Ride: Begin around 4:00 am(available to change) pick up for the incredible trip of 30 to 45 minutes Hot Air Balloon flight over the west bank of Luxor and enjoy an aerial view of the country’s landscape and famous landmarks. Enjoy the sunrise illuminating the sky of the open-air museum city(Luxor) over the great temples and mountains below.

Archaeological Exploration at Valley Of The Kings. Valley of the Kings: Breakfast and check out to start your remarkable day by driving to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs from the New Kingdom carved their tombs in the mountains aiming to hide their treasure and protect their mummies.

Local Flavor at Mortuary Temple Of Hatshepsut. Mortuary temple: Visit the Mortuary temple of the famous queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari. Listen from your guide to her exciting story and how she managed to rule as a solo Female Pharaoh. End your tour in the West Bank with a photo stop in front of the gigantic statues of Memnon. Lunchtime in a local restaurant (optional).

Local Flavor at Karnak Temple. Karnak temple: Back to the East Bank to see the largest temple ever; Karnak temple built 2000 years ago and covers an area of about 63 acres. Later on, transfer to Luxor railway station to take your evening train back to Cairo.
