Take an overnight first-sitting train from Cairo to Luxor, then relax on the deck of a 5-star Nile Cruise ship sailing down the Nile. Experience the exciting trip of the Hot Air Balloon in Luxor. Discover one of the most impressive temples in Egypt by visiting Abu Simbel 285 km south of Aswan. Welcome to this trip! Egypt Gift Tours representative will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza around 6:30 PM to transfer to the train station to take your evening first-class sitting train to Luxor. (the train takes about 10 to 12 hours).

Day 2

Local Flavor at Karnak Temple. Karnak temple: Our licensed tour guide will meet and assist you at Luxor railway station to be transferred by A/C van to your 5-star Nile Cruise to check in before lunch. Have lunch on board. Start your tour by visiting the largest temple ever: Karnak Temple built through 2000 years ago, covering an area of about 63 acres. Proceed to visit Luxor temple, where ancient Egyptian, Christian, and Islamic features are exhibited. Admire its obelisk and statues.

Balloon Rides. Ballon Ride: Begin around 4:00 am (available to change) pick up for the incredible trip of 30 to 45 minutes Hot Air Balloon flight over the west bank of Luxor and enjoy an aerial view of the country’s landscape and famous landmarks. Enjoy the sunrise illuminating the sky of the open-air museum city (Luxor) over the great temples and mountains below.

Valley of the Kings: Breakfast and start your remarkable day by driving to the West Bank to explore the Theban Necropolis by visiting the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs from the New Kingdom carved their tombs in the mountains aiming to hide their treasure and protect their mummies.

Local Flavor at Mortuary Temple Of Hatshepsut. Mortuary temple: Visit the Mortuary temple of the famous queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari.

Sightseeing at Colossi Of Memnon. Memnon: End your tour in the West Bank with a photo stop in front of the gigantic statues of Memnon – two 17-meter-high statues on Luxor’s west bank. Carved from granite blocks, they represent the Pharaoh Amenhotep III and were once part of an impressive colonnade.

Leisure at Nile River. Afternoon Tea: Return to the Cruise by noon to have your lunch. Start sailing down the River Nile, afternoon tea on the sundeck. Cross Esna Lock and overnight in Edfu.

Carriage Tours at Temple Of Edfu. Temple of Edfu: Enjoy a Horse Carriage ride with your tour guide to visit the temple of Horus at Edfu which is considered to be the most complete and the best preserved of all the Egyptian temples. Relax on the deck watching the unique landscape and admire the scenery of the Nile River while sailing to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board. Afternoon tea on the sundeck.

City/Town Tour at Temple Of Kom Ombo. Kom Ombo City: Late in the afternoon, stop at Kom Ombo city where to visit the unique double temple of Sobek, the crocodile God, and Horus, the falcon God. Return to the cruise and have dinner followed by a folkloric party operated by the cruise staff and tour guides.

Day 5

Local Flavor at Abu Simbel Temples. Abu Simbel: Check out around 4:30, your guide will pick you up for the Abu Simbel trip (sharing a small group), to visit one of the most impressive places in Egypt; the rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel with their unique design built for King Ramesses 2nd and his beloved Queen Nefertari. Back to the cruise around 1:30 pm to pick up your luggage be ready to discover with your guide the highlights of Aswan and listen to the story of the Nubian immigration.

Boating at Philae. Philae: Visit the Philae temple; the Graeco Roman Temple dedicated to goddess Isis using a small motorboat to get there. Later on, transfer to Aswan railway station to take your evening train back to Cairo.
