What your day looks like

Take an overnight sleeper train with meals from Cairo to Luxor, then relax on the deck of a 5 stars Nile Cruise ship sailing down the Nile. Enjoy watching the beautiful Nile Valley scenery and the real Egyptian life. Explore the highlights of the sightseeing in Luxor and Aswan, and stop en route to visit the pharaonic sites of interest such as; Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples. Discover one of the most impressive temples in Egypt by visiting Abu Simbel 285 km south of Aswan. Have fun and enjoy plenty of night entertainment of the belly dancing show, galabiya party, Nubian show or disco, and more in 4 days/3 night Nile Cruise every Saturday, Monday, or Thursday from Luxor to Aswan. Full board, check-in with lunch, check-out with breakfast. Rounded-trip sleeper train tickets and door-to-door transport included. Water, drinks, and entrance fees on your expenses.

Welcome to this trip! Egypt Gift Tours driver will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza around 6:30 PM to transfer to the train station to take your overnight sleeper train to Luxor. (the train takes about 10 to 12 hours).

Day 2

Local Flavor at Karnak Temple. Karnak temple: Our licensed tour guide will meet and assist you at Luxor railway station to be transferred by A/C van to your 5-star Nile Cruise to check in before lunch. Have lunch on board. Then, start your tour by visiting the largest temple ever: Karnak Temple built 2000 years ago, covering an area of about 63 acres.

Local Flavor at Luxor Temple. Luxor temple: Proceed to visit Luxor temple, where ancient Egyptian, Christian, and Islamic features are exhibited. Admire its obelisk and statues. Back to the cruise, dinner on board, and overnight in Luxor.

Day 3

Archaeological Exploration at Valley Of The Kings. Valley of the Kings: Breakfast and start your remarkable day by driving to the West Bank to explore the Theban Necropolis by visiting the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs from the New Kingdom carved their tombs in the mountains aiming to hide their treasure and protect their mummies.

Local Flavor at Mortuary Temple Of Hatshepsut. Mortuary Temple: Visit the Mortuary Temple of the famous queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari.

Sightseeing at Colossi Of Memnon. Memnon: End your tour in the West Bank with a photo stop in front of the gigantic statues of Memnon – two 17-meter-high statues on Luxor’s west bank. Carved from granite blocks, they represent the Pharaoh Amenhotep III and were once part of an impressive colonnade. Return to the Cruise by noon to have your lunch. Start sailing down the River Nile, afternoon tea on the sundeck. Cross Esna Lock and overnight in Edfu.

Day 4

Carriage Tours at Temple Of Edfu. Temple of Edfu: After your breakfast, enjoy a Horse Carriage ride with your tour guide to visit the temple of Horus at Edfu which is considered to be the most complete and the best preserved of all the Egyptian temples. Back to the cruise. Relax on the deck watching the unique landscape and admire the scenery of the Nile River while sailing to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board. Afternoon tea on the sundeck.

City/Town Tour at Temple Of Kom Ombo. Kom Ombo City: Late in the afternoon, stop at Kom Ombo city where to visit the unique double temple of Sobek, the crocodile God, and Horus, the falcon God. Return to the cruise and have dinner followed by a folkloric party operated by the cruise staff and tour guides. Continue sailing to Aswan for overnight.

Local Flavor at Abu Simbel Temples. Abu Simbel trip: Check out around 4:30, your guide will pick you up for the Abu Simbel trip (sharing a group in a bus or minibus), to visit one of the most impressive places in Egypt; the rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel with their unique design for King Ramesses 2nd and his beloved Queen Nefertari. Back to the cruise around 2:30 pm to pick up your luggage be ready to discover with your guide the highlights of Aswan and listen to the story of the Nubian immigration.

Boating at Philae. Philae: Proceed to visit the Philae temple; the Graeco Roman Temple dedicated to goddess Isis using a small motorboat to get there.

Once you arrive a Giza or Cairo train station, you will find our driver holding a sign with your name to transfer to your hotel in Cairo or Giza.
