Take an overnight first-sitting train from Cairo to Aswan, then relax on the deck of a 5-star Nile Cruise ship sailing down the Nile. Enjoy watching the beautiful Nile Valley scenery and the real Egyptian life. Explore the highlights of the sightseeing in Luxor and Aswan, and stop en route to visit the pharaonic sites of interest such as; Kom Ombo and Edfu Temples. Discover one of the most impressive temples in Egypt by visiting Abu Simbel 285 km south of Aswan. Have fun and enjoy plenty of night entertainment of the belly dancing show, galabiya party, Nubian show or disco, and more in 4 days/3 night Nile Cruise every Monday, Wednesday, or Friday from Aswan to Luxor. Full board, check-in with lunch, check-out with breakfast. Rounded-trip first-class sitting train tickets and door-to-door transport included. Water, drinks, and entrance fees on your expenses.

Welcome to this trip! Egypt Gift Tours representative will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza to transfer to the train station to take your evening first-class sitting train to Aswan. (the train takes about 12 to 14 hours).

Day 2

Sightseeing at Aswan Dam. Aswan Dam: Our licensed tour guide will meet and assist you at Aswan railway station to be transferred by A/C van to your 5-star Nile Cruise to check in before lunch. Have lunch on board. Then, start your tour by visiting the High Dam; achieved in 1960 to protect Egypt from the flood and generate electricity. The Dam provides a huge water reservoir known as Lake Nasser, one of the biggest artificial lakes in the world.

Local Flavor at Philae. Philae temple: Proceed to visit Philae temple; the Greco-Roman temple dedicated to goddess Isis using a small motorboat to get there. The temple was relocated to its current location by UNESCO after the building of the High Dam to prevent its inundation. The island was carefully selected to match the original settings on which the temple was originally built. Enjoy free time to explore the beauty of the temple and its surroundings.

Local Flavor at Abu Simbel Temples. Abu Simbel: Around 4:30, your guide will pick you up for the Abu Simbel trip(sharing a group in a bus or minibus), to visit one of the most impressive places in Egypt; the rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel with their unique design built for King Ramesses 2nd and his beloved Queen Nefertari. Get back to the cruise by noon time.

Local Flavor at Temple Of Edfu. Edfu Temple: After your breakfast, enjoy a Horse Carriage ride with your tour guide to visit the temple of Horus at Edfu which is considered to be the most complete and the best preserved of all the Egyptian temples.

Boating at Nile River. Nile River: Return to the cruise. Relax on the deck watching the unique landscape and admire the beautiful scenery of the Nile River while sailing to Luxor. Cross Esna Lock, lunch on board, and afternoon tea on the sundeck.

Archaeological Exploration at Valley Of The Kings. Valley of the Kings: Breakfast and check out to start your remarkable day by driving to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs from the New Kingdom carved their tombs in the mountains aiming to hide their treasure and protect their mummies.

Local Flavor at Karnak Temple. Karnak Temple: Back to the East Bank to see the largest temple ever; Karnak temple built through 2000 years ago and covers an area of about 63 acres. Enjoy the legends and stories of the ancient Egyptian Gods from your Egyptologist guide, and take memorable photos between its huge pillars. Later on, transfer to Luxor railway station to take your evening train back to Cairo (End of Service).

Before Booking

Child rate applies only when sharing 2 paying adults (maximum one child sharing parent’s room). A child from 5 to 11 years old accompanied by one adult will be treated as an adult.( full price) A child from the age of 12 years considered an adult with a maximum 3 members in the room. We might need to start the Nile cruise itinerary from Luxor to Aswan depending upon the cruise availability. Prices are quoted in U.S dollars per person per trip and valid, except during Christmas, New Year and Easter Holidays (100$ per person per night will be charged as extra supplement for these Holidays). If your arrival to Luxor is so early, so we will start the tour direct upon arrival as Cruise check in at 12:00. If the trip to Abu Simbel cancelled due to bad weather, you will be refunded with 30$ USD per person. Sometimes due to sailing conditions on the River Nile, Nile Cruises itineraries schedule and sailing time maybe updated. We assure that our clients will see all what is on their itineraries but maybe in different order. You have a chance to upgrade the sitting train to a sleeping one for 90$ USD per person in double sharing cabin, each way. You will need to pay all the entrance fees by card except the High Dam and motorboat to Philae temple in cash. If you want to have your own room, then you need to book for a single person. If you are travelling in a group and wanted to have your own room, then do a separate booking for a single person. If you are traveling in a group of 3 people, you will enjoy one triple room. If the Abu Simbel trip cancelled due to bad weather, you will be refunded with 30$ USD per person You will need to pay all the entrance fees by card except the High Dam and motorboat to Philae temple in cash. Passports copies are required for the cruise line company and Abu Simple trip permission. It is available to provide an Italian, Japanese or French tour guide with extra 200$ USD per person upon your request.
