Explore Chinese ancient history and rich culture in Xian. Accompanied by your knowledgeable guide, who will lead you to uncover the mystery of the underground army, also the greatness of monk Xuanzang who influenced deeply to Chinese Buddhism. In the morning usually at 9:00 am you will be picked up at your hotel in Xian downtown by your experienced driver and guide, they will hold a sign with your name so you can easily recognize. Our first stop will be famous Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum that is known as “the Eighth Wonder of the World”. The museum includes Pit 1( the largest), Pit 2 and Pit 3, the exhibition hall of the bronze chariots and horses as well. It shows sculpture which makes it the most significant archaeological discovery of the 20th century. After a typical Chinese style lunch, let’s leave for Big Wild Goose Pagoda. It was built to hold sutras and figurines of the Buddha that were brought to China from India by the Buddhist translator and travelers monk Xuanzang. Now the Big Wild Goose Pagoda is surrounded by a big amusement garden and you can stroll around to enjoy the unique design of this leisure area. The final stop of this tour is Yongxingfang, an interesting place close to the Zhongshan Gate of City Wall. Visitors can taste the most authentic Shaanxi folk snacks with regional characteristics, purchase local products and food made by the old process of craft. You can also enjoy a special dinner at your expense here. After the whole day, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Xian.
