Taking a bullet train from Chengdu to Xian in one day is a highly time-and-money saving way to visit Terracotta Warriors between the 2 famous cities. 2 ways bullet train and transfers between Chengdu hotel-train station are included. Around 7 am, your driver in Chengdu will meet you at the hotel lobby and transfer to Chengdu East Station for the train D1918 (09:00-12:25) or a similar one to Xian. Please get off the train at Xian North Station. Your local guide will greet you when you arrive by holding a welcome sign with your name. Then you will board the private car and after a 40-50 minutes driving, you will arrive at the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. Terracotta Warriors and Horses is known as“the Eighth Wonder of the World” with a surprisingly high level in sculpture. It is located 30 km east of the Xian downtown. The original site was found by four local farmers while drilling a well in 1974. Now it has turned into one of the most influential attractions in China and the top attractive sites in Xian. The museum includes Pit 1(the largest pit), Pit 2, Pit 3, and the exhibition hall of the chariots and horses. You will stay in the museum for 2-3 hours. After the visit, you will be transferred back to the train station for the train G2211(19:07-22:55) or similar train back to Chengdu. Your driver in Chengdu will meet you at an exit and transfer you back to Chengdu downtown hotel.
