This leisurely paced, downhill walking tour is ideal for all visitors to Quebec City; families, individual travelers, and small groups. In the company of a professional Quebec guide, this English only Quebec City walking tour will lead you and 14 other participants on a leisurely descending path through all the important sites of Old Quebec. Its content is such that people traveling on their own, in small groups, or Quebec City dwellers will enjoy The Grand Tour. Over the course of approximately two hours, The Grand Tour covers the architecture, the marking events, and the Quebec people’s history. It meanders next to Quebec historical sites such as the Citadel/Musée Royal 22è Régiment, Chateau Frontenac, Quebec fortifications, Place Royale and uncovers many hidden Quebec sites! By limiting the number of participants to a maximum of fifteen per guide, The Grand Tour allows for human contact and personal exchanges between Quebec guides and participants during the tour. Also, a great thing to do with kids: even children and children at heart will enjoy themselves!

Great tour and perfect for our introduction to Québec City! Francis was warm and welcoming and so knowledgeable about the city's history and culture. He shared great information throughout the tour and offered recommendations for our time there. Wear good walking shoes, as this tour does cover a lot of terrain and many hills and stairs. Highly recommend!

Great overview of the Old Town! What a wonderful, knowledgeable and humorous guide! Perhaps a bit more information about going inside the tourist information center and getting a sticker would be a good thing for meeting instructions. Otherwise, a good way to spend a few hours getting a feel for the area, along with history, architecture, and even restaurant suggestions. Definitely recommend.

What a great tour. Lots of history lots of great info and a beautiful city- regret that it was snowing so badly that we didn’t take any photos- also perhaps mention in your information that in snow street parking is not available and that covered parking has a low height max. We had or truck and it didn’t fit so we had to park down by the water. It worked out but we almost missed our tour looking for parking for over a half hour. Would absolutely do again.
